He wasone of the founder trustees of MJD FOUNDATION for senior Citizens and LIFE FOUNDATION for Higher Education located at Virar.

He made a moderate beginning with Diamond Jubilee Stores. He was the former Director of Lime Chemicals Ltd., SilvoLiacal Chemical Ltd., and Himachal Polyolefils Ltd. He was associated with Fidai Institution for boys, Panchgani. He also rendered service to Fidai Trust.

Vision with action can change the society. LATE RAJABALI HADI MEGHANI was into diversified businesses. He was the Chairman of Lime Chemicals and SılvoLiacals Ltd. His business included MGM Construction, Meghani Watch Company at Meena Bazar and Ming Palace. With a vision to ensure education for girls, he donated a complete wing of "Matruchaya" of Rajkot Girls Academy. He was one of the founder trustees of MJDFOUNDATION a Senior Citizens Home at Virar. He constructed and donated the building of the foundation on a NO PROFIT basis

A visionary lets in light through the dark curtains of ignorance. LATE KASAMALI SHAKOOR JAGMAGIA was a great businessman and a great visionary.

He developed his business under the umbrella of Jagmagia Associates in bulk transportation, wholesale, and distribution of chemicals. He also owned a chain of Golden Gate Restaurants.

He pursued his education through Fidai Institution. And hence, he devoted his time to poor and less privileged members of the society and took keen interest in Fidai Institution. He introduced various schemes for fundraising of the institution. He motivated and served various Charitable Organisations and Institutions in a key position. He was one of the founder trustees of MJD FOUNDATION for Senior Citizens at Virar. He was appointed as The Justice of Peace by the Government of Maharashtra.

Mr. Ahmed Dawoodani, founder of Life Foundation and son of Mr. Hussein Dawoodani followed in his father’s footsteps and carried forward the organizations started by his father.

His vision is to support students who are keen to pursue higher education but are unable to due to financial challenges. Today, the organization is able to support over a hundred students and plans to provide wings to many more

Dedicated to the mission of MJD and Life foundation Mrs. Shehnaz Dawoodani has been successful in carrying forward the vision of her late Father -in-Law. She is always looking for means to help and sustain the organization. She has played a key role in creating an organizational and administrative structure of various committees.

Mr. Rahim Dawoodani is the grandson of Mr. Hussein. Dawoodani and follows the footsteps of his grandfather and now his father. Although he is busy with his business and professional commitments, he is always willing to spare time to support his father and mother and bring in modern day management approach. He is a Chemical Engineer, has pursued Business Law and has done his Post Graduation Programme in Family Managed Business from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research. He believes in continuing his formal education and also desires that every student must strive for life-long education.

The vision of the founder trustees is taken to new levels with fresh and innovative ideas of the young blood. AFSHEEN DAWOODANI is the daughter-in-law of Mr. Ahmed Dawoodani and is actively involved in the activities of the Trust. Inspired by the work of Late Mr. Hussein Dawoodani, Mr. Ahmed Dawoodani, and Mrs. Shehnaz Dawoodani, she provides technical support to the Senior Family Members in managing the affairs of the Trust.

“You cannot expect to see the change if you do not contribute…” Abided by this belief, ZAHARA MERCHANT, the third generation of the family is actively involved in the activities of the Trust. Inspired by the work of Late Mr. Hussein Dawoodani and Mr. Ahmed Dawoodani, and Mrs. Shehnaz Dawoodani, she extends technical support to the Senior Family Members in managing the affairs of the Trusts. She brings the freshness of youth, vitality, and new ideas.

The duty of youth is to lead the change… In doing so, YASMEEN DAWOODANI, the third generation of the family, renders services to create a degree of difference. She is the third generation of the family who is actively involved in the activities of the Trust. Inspired by the work of Late Mr. Hussein Dawoodani, Mr. Ahmed Dawoodani, and Mrs. Shehnaz Dawoodani, she provides technical support to the Senior Family Members in managing the affairs of the Trust.

Do not follow where the path may lead, rather shovel the path for the better lives of many… MRS. GULBANOO HIMANI is one of the foundertrustees of LIFE FOUNDATION extending Higher Education for boys. She is a homemaker, a visionary, and a social worker. She lived the vision of her husband and dedicated her life to take it further. She contributed towards extending higher education to boys from moderate families with sheer dedication and selfless devotion.

Mr Akbar Himani inspired by his parents contribution to the community and his compassion for community service established the Life Foundation. He migrated to the USA in 1981 and was successful in establishing his own Business in the food service industry. Throughout the years he has helped several youngsters by providing them with job opportunities.

Mrs. Sabina Himani is an artist currently living in New York, USA. Born and raised in Mumbai she shares her husband’s vision of a better world, where every individual thrives by helping each other.

She is passionate about furthering the cause of Life foundation and enabling it to make the world a better place.
