Late Rajabali Hadi Meghani was into diversified businesses. He was the chairman of Lime chemicals and SilvoLiacals Ltd. His business included MGM construction, Meghani watch company at Meena bazar and Ming palace. With a visin to ensure education for girls, he donated a complete wing of "Matruchaya" of Rajkot girls Academy.
Mr. Ahmed Dawoodani, founder of Life Foundation and son of Mr. Hussein Dawoodani followed in his father's footsteps and carried forward the organizations started by his father. His vision is to support students who are keen to pursue higher education but are unable to due to financial challenges. Today, the organization is able to support over a hundred students and plans 10 provide wings to many more

She is always looking for means to help and sustain the organization. She has plajed a key role in creating an organizational and administrative structure of Various committees
Mr. Rahim Dawoodani is the grandson of Mr. Hussein. Dawoodani and follows the footsteps of his grandfather and now his father. Although he is busy with his business and professional commitments, he is always willing to spare time to support his father and mother and bring in modem day management approach. He is a Chemical Engineer, has pursued Business Law and has done his Post Graduation Programme in Family Managed Business from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research. He believes in continuing his formal education and also desires that every student must strive for life-long education.
The vision of the founder trustees is taken to new levels with fresh and innovative ideas of the young blood. AFSHEEN DAWOODANI is the daughter-in-law of Mr. Ahmed Dawoodani and is actively involved in the activities of the Trust. Inspired by the work of Late Mr. Hussein Dawoodani, Mr. Ahmed Dawoodani, and Mrs. Shehnaz Dawoodani, she provides technical support to the Senior Family Members in managing the affairs of the Trust.
“You cannot expect to see the change if you do not contribute..” Abided by this belief, ZAHARA MERCHANT, the third generation of the family is actively involved in the activities of the Trust. Inspired by the work of Late Mr. Hussein Dawoodani and Mr. Ahmed Dawoodani, and Mrs. Shehnaz Dawoodani, she extends technical support to the Senior Family Members in managing the affairs of the Trusts. Do not follow where the path may lead, rather shovel the path for the better lives of many. MRS. GULBANOO HIMANI is one of the foundertrustees of LIFE FOUNDATION extending Higher Education for boys. She is a homemaker, a visionary, and a social worker. She lived the vision of her husband and dedicated her life to take it further. She contributed towards extending higher education to boys from moderate families with sheer dedication and selfless devotion.
Mr Akbar Himani inspired by his parents contribution to the community and his compassion for community service established the Life Foundation. He migrated to the USA in 1981 and was successful in establishing his own Business in the food service industry. Throughout the years he has helped several youngsters by providing them with job opportunities.
Mrs. Sabina Himani is an artist currently living in New York, USA. Born and raised in Mumbai she shares her husband's vision of a better world, where every individual thrives by helping each other.
She is passionate about furthering the cause of Life foundation and enabling it to make the world a better place.
